Cryogenic Gas Vent
Gas vents play a crucial role in maintaining system efficiency by removing excess gas, ensuring the appropriate liquid level, and providing liquid on demand following a shutdown period. For optimal performance, gas vents should be positioned at the highest point in the system. The outlets are equipped with bayonets, allowing vacuum-jacketed lines to transport cryogenic gas safely. These vents are available in various configurations, including vertical, inline, and end-of-line options, and can be customized for all sizes of vacuum jacketed pipe offered by CRANE® Cryogenics.
Also available is our optional Sound Suppressor – attaches to the vented heater to reduce the sound pressure level emanating from the gas vent. The Sound Suppressor slips into CRANE® Cryogenics’ vent heater. No clamps, tools, or welding are required.
